A vision in vintage. That’s what this delightful girl’s room is. A delicate floral wallpaper by @bajkowewnetrza sets the backdrop for a collection of quaint decorative accoutrement, but it’s the Classic Scandi Vintage bed by @scandiroom2016 that really steals the show. The finish is so authentic that it could pass for a treasured relic from a bygone era. The bronzed varnish finish perfectly complements the rich teal of the open dolls house by @gagalu_home_official. Add a characterful circus bear head by @lovemedecoration and a sleepy hobby horse, and you have the recipe for a room full of boho wonder.

@boho.wife

Another vintage bedstead laden with a satisfyingly deep pile of luxurious bed linen makes for a fairy tale of Princess and the Pea proportions. An oversized autumnal floral wallpaper print in bronze and blue teamed with a collection of lilacs, lavenders and browns bring a wonderfully warm feel to this traditional design approach.

Luckily, we didn’t have to go to the moon and back to discover Oskar’s neutral-hued abode. An untreated house bed is adorned with fairy lights and insulated with protective velour braid pads by @laluu.pl. The addition of crescent moon bedding by @mymoments creates a tranquil haven for this stylish boy’s room. It’s Scandi styling at its finest. Lots of detail but not too much fuss. Delightfully detailed yet supremely simple.

This chocolate bar of a room looks good enough to eat with its hazelnut, cappuccino and cinnamon tones. It’s the epitome of cosy with a colour palette that simply screams ‘hunker down’.A comical Alpaca poster print by @studiolocodesign injects a wonderful dose of childhood charm into the mocha-tinged melange and we love the Caramel Clovers playmat by @love_by_lily – it coordinates so well with the bedlinen by @borncopenhagen. If a kids’ room could channel sweet shop vibes without any of the downsides, it’s this delicious treat of a space.

@jellualina

This room feels like a welcome retreat from the elements outside. When we feast our eyes on this cosy corner, we feel like we might have just stepped in from the wilderness. Perhaps it’s the cute stag chair from @jollyroomwifi or the casually strewn branches atop the house bed. We love the impromptu curtains fashioned from tablecloths that just happened to be the perfect dimensions without any need for alteration. Natural storage baskets and a neutral, off-white Amalia rug by @rustasuomi complete this rustic room.

Did you ever see such a striking wall covering? If we didn’t know better, we’d think that the walls were draped with fabric. In fact, this optical illusion is created with Arrows Indigo wallpaper by @stfranktextiles. Vogue describes St. Frank as the bohemian home décor mecca, and they’re not wrong. It’s incredible to think a paper could create such astonishing depth and be so befitting for that framed fish print by @scoutdesignstudio. We love the minimal C-shaped Essential side tables by @bungalow5 and the Coastal Cottage rope globe sconces by @shadesoflight. What you can’t see off camera is the most adorable octagonal reading nook cut into the wall. Truly the stuff of childhood dreams. Bravo @megantempledesign !

@karlijn_88

This cosy room chooses a pared-back treatment to achieve its goals. Natural wood and a palette of putty and cream put a Scandi stamp on styling that oozes minimal, clean and uncluttered. Bedlinen by @garboandfriends and @swedishlinens introduces a splash of print and pattern that chime rather than compete with the @borastapeter Forest Friends wallpaper. This room feels like a comfortable pair of slippers that you never want to let go of!

@livingwithamanda

A board and batten wall gives a grown-up vibe to Grayson’s haven in this Connecticut home. It’s college dorm meets log cabin with a touch of English charm. The glade green works a treat against the dark wood of the bed and side table, and the tan tones of the leather pouffe and furry throw add more farmhouse charm. What better way to bring a sense of the great outdoors in than to host a spruce at the foot of the bed? And one of the details that we love the most? Grayson chose white bed sheets just like his mama and helped make the bed himself.

@ma_lo_ki

Oh, boy Leon. There’s real magic in this woodland themed room. The teddy bear bed by @wood_night_ is the perfect nighttime companion suitably shrouded with a khaki canopy that complements the nature print bedlinen. An entourage of deer adorn the wall in the form of Dekornik’s Deer Meadow wallpaper, and a whimsical print seals the deal on the fantasy quotient. It’s cosy, magical and innocent in equal measure.

@rebeccashem

Elton’s room channels an abundance of woodland charm, making it the perfect entrant for our top ten of Insta kids’ rooms. A cabin style bed complete with foliage print bedlinen continues the theme with adorable woven toadstools from @jollyroom and an antler-backed chair sitting obediently at the log-round table. Tonal greys and icy pistachio create a wintry feel, echoed by a trio of sparse ornamental trees on the window ledge. We could sit like Mr Gonk and adore the magic all day long.
