Baby boy Ted and toddler girl Alice from Melbourne in Australia, both sleep in the same bedroom that has been so nicely styled by their mother Catherine. The family lives in a weatherboard Californian style bungalow which has recently been renovated in a modern Scandinavian feel, lots of white and light wood, light grey floor boards, softened with natural materials and textures. Catherine tells us that the kids’ room follow this style too so she doesn’t mind if their toys and décor “spill out” of their bedroom and into the living areas. Today we are taking you inside their bedroom and there are tons of pretty details for you to swoon over!
Being a doctor in paediatrics in her own practice, Catherine has the flexibility to work as much or little as she likes so has decided to stay at home with Ted three days of the week and combines this time with styling work and as a brand representative. She loves the creativity of styling and product styling has been a great opportunity for her to combine this passion with her love of photography.
