Leoma Harper has always loved decorating homes, whether it is a full refurbishing or just changing details such as cushions on the sofa. She is no stranger to styling and has designed floral displays for many gorgeous events such as at Harrod’s and Hampton Court Palace through her florist business Harpers Bloom. Today we take a look at her son’s, Sebastian’s, simple and sweet nursery.

She tells us that she has always loved the feel of this room as it is very light and airy. She didn’t want to ruin it with a full-on colour or wallpaper and therefore chose to keep it sweet and simple by incorporating a few interesting accents such as the yellow door and star décor.

The changing top can be removed to leave a lovely chest of drawers for Sebastian’s future toddler’s room. The shelves between the fireplace and the wall are full of gifts he received when he was born and his name in painted blue wooden block letters.

yellow door

The yellow door is Leoma’s favourite element in the nursery – it brings a ray of uplifting sunshine to the whole room.
