Could there be a better outdoor influence for a nursery than nature’s floaty clouds? We don’t think so, and neither do Anthony and Caroline. They turned to @photowall_sweden for Otto’s neutral nursery, choosing ‘Up and Away’ wallpaper to lull him to slumber. If that doesn’t work, he can always try counting sheep, starting with Povl Kjer’s Rocking Sheep. The colour palette in this room is so calming. Greige and cream collide with the rich caramel tones of the @kongessloejd canopy and a flower-backed cane chair and apple storage basket.

@annet_weelink_design

This nursery takes a walk on the wilder side of nature with a mono jungle wallpaper and a vase of dried bulrushes. The tropical wilderness is tempered by the softness of a vast expanse of billowing fabric in the lightweight floor-to-ceiling curtains and the creamy over-cot canopy. There’s so much light in this peaceful, dreamy space, and we just love those exposed beams on the ceiling.

Safari styling sets the tone in Arlo’s sweet nursery. Mama Liv opts for colour blocking on the wall with a natural shade of olive, and introduces a sense of nature and pattern with foliage on the one-piece reversible playmat by @toddlekind. Austin and Monkey bring the fall leaves by way of their clever stencilling – expertly applied to a naked pine IKEA cabinet. The jungle vibes are omnipresent in almost every nook and cranny, from the snoozing lion cushion and plush croc to the darling giraffe who looks all set for her own adventure.

@bohemiandecor

Macrame and plants go hand in hand and fit perfectly in this beige boho wonderland. This is such a gentle space for a newborn, yet the swift removal of that cot could instantly turn it into a sophisticated study space or laidback lounge. The Persian rug frames the neutral cot, while the subtle leafy bed linen picks out the potted plant in the corner. We love the sentiment in the simple typographical framed print; ‘you’ll always have us’.

More lush tropical foliage forms the feature wall in Jude’s wander through the jungle. There’s so much depth in Graham and Brown’s Paradise Jungle Palm mural that it creates the illusion of wading through the undergrowth. All the adventure from the safety of the nursery’s four walls. The colour on the adjacent walls is Oh Crumbs, also by Graham and Brown. The natural cot by @Scandiborn stays in keeping with the nature theme but lifts and lightens the tones along with a snuggly sheepskin rug. We love the hot air balloon pendant by @dunelmuk, perfectly positioned to appear as though floating above the dense rainforest.

@laurakerndesign

This nursery project holds so much meaning for its creator, Laura. The idea was conceived during the Covid pandemic and at a time where she was experiencing uncertainty with her second pregnancy. In her own words, Laura wanted to ‘create an oasis that would hold us through the experience of birth and the chaos of those early months’.

This hand painted mural is nothing short of genius and depicts the most magical scene of nature with its cute toadstools, willowy ferns and tall dandelion-esque flowers. A simple but striking petal pendant on the ceiling mirrors the botanical theme.

We’re not sure what came first, but did you notice how the curtains match the colour blocked wall?

@littleseedskids

There’s nothing quite as uplifting as a gigantic watercolour rainbow mural in calm, coastal tones of blush pink, sunshine yellow, peach melba and aqua green. You won’t find a crock of gold at the end of this rainbow, but you will find the delight that is Little Seeds’ Shiloh natural and faux rattan 3-drawer dresser, adding to the free-spirited vibe in this charming beachy boho nursery.

@meraki_moraki

Some nurseries just ooze an air of glamour and grandeur that’s hard to imitate. Sometimes it’s hard to put your finger on what it is that contributes to that polished, glossy vibe. Here, it’s undoubtedly that feature wall packing a punch with uniQstiQ’s Cactus and Pink Flowers wallpaper and the neon-light vibe personalised sign. Monroe’s room is very definitely giving off tropical Florida feels and just a touch of Miami heat.

@styledbymarit

We love this uber sophisticated take on floral wallpaper by @fotobehangshopz. It’s all creams, off-white and neutrals in Ava’s nursery save for that indulgent dollop of chocolate canopy over the cot.  Banwood’s  tricycle fits in just perfectly with its tan saddle and toffee-tinged wicker basket. Nursery goals for the neutral and nature lovers!

@thefrenchfolk

Life is just peachy in this gorgeous girls nursery thanks to the buttery, blush tones of the Madelyn peel and stick wallpaper from @rockymountaindecals. This oversized floral print is perfectly teamed with an abundance of rattan and a sprinkling of foliage for a bright and breezy boho bedroom fit for a princess.

@thelittlesurferdude

Living in sunny South Florida, it’s hard to escape the presence of the ocean, so rather than go against the tide, Summer has invited the waves in and opted for a full-on surf vibe for Maverick’s room. The nautical waves wallpaper in a soothing pastel blue creates a calming sense of motion while soft creams and rich leathery browns add a sophisticated touch to this beachy-themed nursery.
