As soon as you step inside three year old Alexia’s bedroom you will be swept away into a magical enchanted garden. Its moody feel with a slight rustic vibe means it’s not your average little girl’s room, but really draws your attention as you enter this wonderland. Let’s take a closer look!

Its striking and dramatic colour palette consists of different shades of greys, blacks and whites. Golden tones in the form rose gold, peach andand golden browns inject warmth and give depth to the room.

Brooke, creator of this room, is a stay at home mother of three from Sydney, Australia with no design experience aside from creating her own children’s bedrooms. She’s since discovered she has a real passion for designing and creating dreamy spaces and bringing them to life. When she started designing this room, her goal was to challenge herself and create something different, that’s out of the typical pink palette she’s so often drawn too.

Florals are a very popular trend right now and a real fave of The H House so naturally, Brooke wanted to incorporate them into this design.  By stepping out her comfort zone and experimenting with her design and styling skills, Brooke has created a gorgeous twist on this classic trend which shows you can have a beautiful girly room without all the pink.

This space will easily grow with Alexia as she gets older and her own style evolves. Adding different coloured cushions and linen will keep the room fresh and updated without having to completely redesign the room.  Brooke is constantly restyling the room to keep Alexia’s imagination blooming and showcase different parts of the décor.

Thank you Brooke!
