Pale blue is the classic and traditional colour for boys nursery rooms..but in girl nursery rooms it adds a touch of modernity and charm..

Miann & Co is an australian kids’ décor brand that has a large selection of textile items for baby nursery and kids rooms. We love how they painted the wall in two different pale blue colours with a graphic and modern separation and adding their pale blue beanbag in this girl’s nursery. Their crochet cushions and rugs are just amazing.

Danish style and taste never goes wrong.. Sidsel Garsdal , cofounder of Copenhagen notes, placed this pale blue cot from danish brand Sebra in her girl’s nursery. We especially appreciate how she mixed modern and vintage by the vintage patchwork cushions, rug ,suitcases and posters together with the modern chair, pink car toy and of course the Killi cot from Sebra.

Pär and Lovisa live in Malmö in Sweden and are parents of Iris, a little girl who lives in this cute nursery room. A pale blue has been painted on the wall cupboards and on the Ikea cot. We love all the red touches as on the Fermliving wallpaper and on the toys and garlands. It creates a 50’s look for the nursery without too many pastels that can sometimes be a little bit too sugarcute.

Painting details can make all the difference! The windowframe, ceiling and floor mouldings have been painted in pale blue in this girl’s nursery designed by Sharon Montrose and notice that the ceiling has been painted in an even lighter shade of pale blue. The result is an absolute chic.
