Maison and Objet, the international trade fair for interiors and design was held in Paris at the beginning of September and of course we were there! The kids section was bubbling with exciting brands and new products for kids interiors and we have made a selection of what you will find in stores this autumn.

nobodinoz cot

nobodinoz Pure Line toddlers bed

The Barcelona based brand Nobodinoz have launched a new kids’ furniture line “Pure Line” which includes a cot (around 860 euros), toddlers bed (around 700 euros) and a chest of drawers (around 890 euros). The furniture is made out of American Oak that has undergone a special process of first being painted with white paint that has been removed and then polished with a mat varnish which results in this beautiful bleached look.

Nobodinoz Pure line bedding

The Pure Line also consists of a bedding range in quilted organic cotton in beautiful muted colours. This bedding range is made in Barcelona with Gots certification and Oeko-Tex standards for the safety of your child and baby.

Main Sauvage cushions

The French brand Main Sauvage exposed for the first time at Maison and Objet and presented their beautiful soft plushdolls and cushions in baby alpaga. The maple and oak leaf pillows are priced at around 50 euros in stores.

Blomkal furniture

The furniture company Blomkal presented their new mirrors (small 99 euros and large 115 euros) that are made in their studio in Angoulème, France.

Blossom Paris teepee hooks

Blossom Paris has complemented their collection of hooks with this set of handpainted beech teepee hooks priced at 24 euros each.

Budt Bendix

The Danish kidsbrand Budtz Bendix has launched a spelling board as part of the Type Tower collection. Each letter can be sold individually and be clipsed onto their iconic highchair (priced at 326 euros including a tray)

Julie Marabelle tableware

The brand Engel presented a beautiful set of bamboo tableware designed by Julie Marabelle (around 25 euros for a 3 piece set).

Homeley Creatures toucan cushion

Australian brand Homely Creatures exposed for their first time at the fair and we fell in love with their Toucan cushion in alpagan wool from Bolivia (priced around 89 euros) and their cactus cushion (priced around 59 euros).

Kidzpiration Fabelab cloudcushion

Kidzpiration presented many kids brands such as Wee Gallery, Naco, Green Lullaby etc but we fell for this little cloud cushion from Fabelab with multicoloured strings (around 30 euros in stores).

Kiko toys

Japanese brand Kiko launched two new set of toys, the Machi (on the left) which is a set of wood blocks and a chalkboard representing a town (around 43 euros) and the Ditto set (on the right) which is a conceptual toy of building blocks with mirrors at different angles (around 100 euros in stores).

Le Petit Lucas du Tertre

  Lots of new cosy cushions and bedlinens from Lucas du Tertre (cushions 22,50 euros small, 30 euros large, bedcovers between 110-185 euros).

Maison Deux

This cute watermelon rocker was shown for the first time at the fair and made quite a sensation! Designed by Maison Deux in french oak and Kvadrat woolfelt fabric (around 480 euros)

moulin roty

There were so many new creative characters from Moulin Roty such as (from left to right) Ernest the Crocodile (around 40 euros), Violette the Flamenco (around 40 euros), the newly designed set of dolls “Les Parisiennes” (around 20 euros) and the bestseller Le Petit Hibou le Magicien (The Magician Owl) in a smaller format (around 20 euros).

Sebra

Sebra certainly didn’t disappoint anyone at the fair with this new fun and cute playtool bench (around 249 euros) and the rhinoceros pull-along toy (around 39 euros) which also exists as a rocking animal (159 euros).

Sew Heart felt

This adorable set of budgie birds was a newcomer from Sew Heart Felt (around 40 euros the set of 3).

psikhouvanjou tableware

P commissioned Haciendo el Indio to design this supercute set of tableware (plate 6 euros, bowls 7 euros and cup 6 euros).

Studio delle Alpi pulltoys

Studio Delle Alpi launched these creative pull-along cars in wood with a chalkboard surface that kids can scribble on (around 46 euros).

Studio Roof

Studio Roof, known for their magnificient paper designs presented a new walldecor the Mouflon (around 24 euros) and one of their bestsellers the Fawn pop-out card (around 5 euros).

Trescixs

Tresxics presented a new colour for their tree shelf with stickers ( shelf around 39 euros and set of stickers 29 euros).

Xo-in-my -Room goal desk

Xo-in my room from Barcelona exposed for the first time at Maison and Objet and presented this fun “goal” desk, the Jan desk (around 288 euros).

kids case home for kids

Kids Case makes beautiful soft wool blankets and cushions and delighted us with their new soft plush rabbit Pal (around 35 euros).

Art for Kids rugs

French brand Art for Kids have designed this new teepee rug that will be available in stores from November (small size 109 euros and larger size 199 euros).

Next session of Maison and Objet Paris will be held between the 20-24 of January 2017.
