Audrey Meucci lives on theĀ French Riviera near Nice and works as a teacher for children. She is naturally inspired by the little ones universe and when she became pregnant with her daughter, she decided to name her Alice inspired by the famous girl living and exploring her wonderland. Drawing inspiration from trendy french and english blogs aswell as Pinterest and Instagram, Audrey has managed to create a unique wonderland for her own daughter.
Of course there wouldn’t be a wonderland without bunnies..The Miffy lamp sits quietly at the end of Alice’s cot from french brand Abc meubles with a blue woolfelt crown from Le Gang de Georgia and the other bunny friend can be found on the wall as an origami walldecor by Chloe Fleury that Audrey found at the Yellow Flamingo Store.
Adorable is also a word used in the french language and the large wooden word sign from Maisons du Monde couldn’t be better for an adorable babygirl’s nursery.
Alice is surrounded by wonders such as dreamy grey textile ballons from Cassis et Petit Houx and round paper lanterns from Sous le Lampion in a soft pastel environment. The cute flamenco comes from the National Geographic range which is composed of a wide collection of other animals from the jungle and forests. By buying one of their stuffed animal toys you also support their initiatives of wildlife conservation.
The personalised name cushion is made by Mon Petit Leon and is placed together with lots of sweet plush toyanimals.
The blinking eye Good night poster is made by A Little Lovely Company , the paper kraft toybag from Bepoles at Minimall store and the flamenco garland is by My Little Day.
A paper star lantern is not just for Christmas but can look great in a nursery or a kidsroom as a permanent feature all year round. For similar star lanterns click here. The unicorn in knitted yarn wire is handmade by talented designer Les Petits Bonheurs de Mani who can also make the knitted wire name signs.
Some whimsy has been added with flowery star decor on the walls and Alice’s hairbows attached to a canvas which makes a creative and original walldecor.
A good idea is to place wooden house shelves above the changing table where you can place the baby’s cleaning lotions and creams together with some decorative accessories. Make it look really nice by customizing them with masking tape on the sides and some decorative garlands.
Make any sweet sentence such as “Petite Cherie” (which means Little Loved One in french) with the lightboxes from A Little Company.
We are pretty sure Alice will fantasize and dream in such a creative and inspiring nursery..
