You all loved how kids interior designer and stylist Esra Alkan at Kids Living Etc designed the room for her son that we showed you at the beginning of the month. Today we are delighted to present another room that she has designed for a little toddler boy called Ali Efe, aged tree and a half whose mother is a well-known style blogger that you can discover at Styleboomblog.

black boysbed

The two contrasting colours yellow and black aswell as the bold graphics on the baskets under the bed from Boyner Evde gives an edgy look to the boysroom which is softened by the white bedding with colorful dots from H&M Home and the icecream lamp from A Little Lovely Company. The clever storage solution can be found at Ikea aswell as the wooden stool that is painted with yellow legs. The black bed from Ikea has a vintage feel but with a modern twist to it so can easily fit ito an eclectic kidsroom.

kids bookshelf

Original details such as this carved wooden catwalldecor from Tahtamahta has been brought into the room and fits perfectly next to the wooden bookshelves from Tahtamanya.

black superhero garland

A black Batman garland from Garlands with Love hangs from a white shelf from Ikea that has been decorated with objects of different shapes and heights such as as a kidsposter from Kids Living Etc, a kidsdrawing framed in an Ikea frame, a wire house from Kids Living Etc, animal decorative items, toys and pots with cactuses.

yellow toy storage

We love the idea of placing flat chairmats on the dresser so little Ali Efe’s can sit there and read. It also saves floorspace and maybe the little boy prefers to sit higher up so he can be at a more even eyelevel with his parents.

yellow boysroom

An intense and warm yellow has been chosen for one of the walls of the toddler’s boysroom which is a good balance with the rest of the walls that have been painted white. The rustic yellow toy box with boyish military style text on it can be found at Old Wood Design and the height mesure from H&M Home.

ikea dresser kids

The dresser from Ikea actually looks great in its unpainted version and can be customized by just changing the knobs and why not match the frames with the knobs aswell! The robot toy from Le Toy Van adds a decorative touch on the dresser.

boys decor

All toys don’t need to be stuffed away and hidden and especially if they are cute plushtoys then they can look good in a wire basket such as this one from H & M Home.

blackboard ikea

The blackboard from Ikea is a useful educational toy but also serves as a decorative element in the kidsroom. If you are lucky to have enough space for a couch then Ikea has some modern classics covered in plain cotton that can be made more interesting by placing a cushion in an original shape as a moon or maybe an animal-shaped or fruity shaped cushion.

You will find lots of trendy and fun kids decor accessory brands from Kids Living Etc such as Le Toy Van, A Little Company, Vibel, Mr Maria Design, Pixistuff, Red Hand Gang and many more..and we invite you to discover them as you really won’t be disapointed!
